As designers at C+A Design, we are proud to have created an orangery-style extension for one of our long-standing clients' Grade II listed Georgian gentleman's house. Our design approach was to pay homage to the traditional style of the period, while also incorporating modern thermal standards and integrating air conditioning for optimal comfort.

We were delighted to receive positive feedback from the local conservation officer, who commended our sympathetic approach to the existing property. Additionally, during the planning process, members of the public provided valuable feedback, which further reinforced our belief that our design successfully complemented the original house.

Alongside the orangery-style extension, we also designed an oak-framed carport and outdoor storage area on the same property. This complementary addition serves to enhance the overall aesthetic of the house and extension, while also providing practical and functional benefits for the client.
